The Uniform Coinage of India, British Imperial Period, Victoria, copper Quarter-Anna, 1862, type B/I [Prid. A/I], Madras, crowned and robed bust left, victoria queen, 4.25 panels in jabot, single flower in lowest panel, no v on bodice, rev. one quarter anna above india and date, all within scroll-like wreath of Indian flora, leaf on each side below date, larger beads in inner circle, 25.5mm, edge plain, 6.53g/12h (Prid. 604 [Sale, lot 164]; SW 4.172; KM. 467; cf. Fore III, 2170). Some carbon spots on reverse, otherwise practically mint state, full original colour £50-£70
