Samuel Cartlidge served as a Driver in Ramsay’s “H” Troop, Royal Horse Artillery, at Waterloo. He also served in the Peninsula with Bean’s “D” Troop, Royal Horse Artillery, and received the M.G.S. medal for Vittoria and Toulouse.
