Judaea, 8th-7th century BC, set of weights (5), includes white limestone weight inscribed with three symbols for a Nezef, 9.29g, 18mm x 13mm; white limestone inscribed with T for 8 Gerah, 5.63g, 16mm x 12mm; white limestone inscribed with three symbols for a third of a Shekel, 3.48g, 13mm x 11mm; grey limestone inscribed with three symbols for 6 Gerah, 3.33g, 13mm x 10mm; red/brown limestone inscribed with III for 3 Gerah, 1.89g, 11mm x 8mm; all dome-shaped with a flat base [5]. All very fine with clear markings, second with some encrustation, third very rare £300-£400
