George III (1760-1820), Soho Mint, Birmingham, Proof Farthing, 1799 (late Soho), in gilt-copper, laureate bust right, brooch with 6 irregular jewels, flaw attached to base of g in gratia, rev. Britannia seated left, olive branch with 8 attached leaves, blocked-up loop in r of farthing, edge centre-grained, 6.40g/6h (BMC 1269 [KF 7]; Cooke 292, this coin; ‘Selig’ 1427; S 3779). Minor hairlines, otherwise brilliant mint state, most attractive [certified and graded NGC PF 62 Cameo] £600-£800
