George III (1760-1820), Soho Mint, Birmingham, Proof Farthing, 1806 (late Soho), by C.H. Küchler, in bronzed-copper, laureate bust right, side whisker curls in incuse lines, strand of hair overlaps two lowest leaves, brooch with 7 jewels, rev. Britannia seated left, hair unwaved, olive branch with 7 leaves [5 detached], die repolished at base of shield, edge plain, 3.80g/6h (BMC 1395 [KF 15]; Cooke 284, this coin; S 3782). Tiny spot to left of Britannia’s head, otherwise brilliant mint state, most attractive, very rare [certified and graded NGC PF 63 BN] £340-£400
