Archibald Charles Lightwood was born at Windsor, Berkshire in 1896. He served during the Great War with the 1/6th Battalion, East Surrey Regiment, and later in Aden attached to the Machine Gun Corps, and was awarded the T.F.E.M. per Army Order No. 148 of April 1920. He died at Staines, Surrey in 1973.
