(overall height); 1st Volunteer Battalion, Leicestershire Regiment shooting medal, silver, obverse, laurel wreath in relief, the centre engraved, ‘Won By Sergt, J. Osborne’, reverse, engraved, ‘1st Volunteer Battn. Leicestershire Regt. Shooting Club, Best Shot, H. Compy., 1894’, 39mm., with decorative brooch-bar for wearing; 1st Volunteer Battalion, Leicestershire Regiment shooting medal, silver, obverse, crossed rifles with laurel wreath, and crown above, reverse, engraved within laurel wreath, ‘1st Volunteer Batt. Leicestershire Regt. Shooting Club, H. Company, 1898, Won By Sergt. J.
