Bertie Robert Harmer enlisted on 21 April 1900. Serving with the 1st Battalion Northumberland Fusiliers, he entered the France/Flanders theatre of war on 2 November 1914. Harmer was discharged due to a disability on 31 October 1916. Awarded the Silver War Badge (not with lot). With copied m.i.c. and roll extract; clasp confirmed.
