William Walter Street was born and lived in Romsey, Hampshire and enlisted at Southampton. Serving in the 6th Battalion Dorset Regiment, he was killed in action, France/Flanders, on 14 May 1917, aged 32 years. He was buried in the Brown’s Copse Cemetery, Roeux, France. He was the son of Walter and Priscilla Street of 3 Spring Place, Romsey.
