Private Horace Barker, 2nd Battalion Nottinghamshire & Derbyshire Regiment, entered the France/Flanders theatre of war on 8 September 1914. Latterly served with the Durham Light Infantry. Later served in India and was awarded the I.G.S. with clasp for Afghanistan N.W.F. 1919. With copied m.i.c.
