Mule Halfpence (6), man hanging series (4), type 2 (2), man with short legs, 12.45g/12h (DH 831), 12.48g/12h (DH 831a), type 3, man with straight legs, 6.97g/12h (DH 833), type 4, church with finely castellated tower, 9.03g/6h (DH 834); three men hanging, rev. open book, 11.05g/6h (DH 838); pig, rev. noted advocates, etc, 10.62g/6h (DH 842) [6]. Good very fine and better, but all lightly lacquered (£100-120)

Some of these, particularly the type 3 pieces, are not by Spence and probably pre-date 1795, when Spence’s numismatic activity commenced
