Henry John Stanyon, Commanding Nagpur Volunteer Rifles (Central Provinces), was awarded the C.I.E. in May 1895. Appointed Divisional Judge, Nagpur, March 1897; Deputy Commissioner, and Divisional and Sessions Judge, October 1901; awarded Volunteer Officers Decoration, February 1906; 2nd additional Judicial Commissioner, May 1907.
