Alexander III (1249-1286), Second coinage, Sterling, class Mb1, mm. cross potent on obv., cross pattée on rev., bust left with wider hair, small pellets on points of crown, rev. long cross, four mullets of six points in angles, 1.36g/11h (SCBI 35, 197; B 15, fig. 157; S 5054). Very fine, the variety rare £80-£100
