Spink Auction 207, 23-24 March 2011, lot 236
This coin is struck from a Perth obverse die which was predominantly used there but was also used at Edinburgh paired with a large lis-stopped reverse die from the closing stages of the First issue. Based on letter punches, the vendor thinks that this reverse is probably from the last die of the saltire and pellet series.
