Greek Coinages, Maroneia: Tetrobol, struck c. 377-365, by the magistrate Molpagores(?)

Obverse: μολ-π: forepart of horse right

Reverse: grape bunch on vine; m-a above, all within dotted square

Metal: silver; Persian weight standard; 2.78g/12h

References: Schönert-Geiss 312ff; Lockett 1203; Ashmolean –

Condition: Almost extremely fine, the reverse struck a little off-centre; dark patina with trace find deposits on the reverse £150-£200
