Obverse: Ass walking right, carrying inebriated Dionysos who reclines, nonchalantly raising kantharos in his right hand and supporting a thyrsus in his left
Reverse: μενδαιον: vine with five grape brunches, recessed border around containing legend
Metal: silver; Attic weight standard; 17.17g/11h

Condition: Trifling peripheral mark on reverse, otherwise extremely fine, light golden toning over excellent metal £12,000-£15,000
