Obverse: head of Melkart right, wearing lion’s scalp headdress, paws tied below chin

Reverse: mhmhnt [in Punic characters]: horse head left, palm tree with cluster of dates behind

Metal: silver; Attic weight standard; 16.83g/12h

Condition: Extremely fine, struck in high relief with beautiful iridescent toning £2,000-£2,600
