Amlwch, Parys Mine Co, Halfpenny, 1791, uncertain manufacturer (early Boulton?), druid’s head left encircled by wreath with 18 acorns, rev. pm co cypher, single acorn with a stem as punctuation, edge payable in anglesey or london, 14.27g/6h (DH 393). Virtually as struck with fully brilliant surfaces, light peripheral toning, rare, the reverse of distinctive style £120-£150
