Amlwch, Parys Mine Co, Pattern Halfpenny, 1790, by R. Dumarest for M. Boulton, in copper, druid’s head left encircled by wreath with 19 acorns, hood worked in fine parallel lines, rev. pm co cypher, edge payable in anglesey or london and engrailed, 29mm, 14.13g/12h (DH 380). Obverse brilliant, reverse partially toned and some minor spotting, otherwise virtually as struck with considerable original colour, rare £140-£180
