Thomas Collins was born in Woolwich, Kent, in 1881, and attested for the 3rd Battalion, Queen’s Own Royal West Kent Regiment on 3 May 1898. Confirmed on the roll in the rank of Drummer, he was discharged on 2 May 1904.
