Guadeloupe, ——— Sou (?), Mexico, Charles IV, 2 Réales, 1791, a brass counterfeit, obv. countermarked p p incuse dividing fleur-de-lis, 5.57g/85.6gr (cf. Zay Guadeloupe 19; cf. VG 1066; Zay, 1904 suppl., p.12; cf. Byrne lot 564). Coin poor, countermark very fine £10-20

Used until the introduction of the French Colonial 5 and 10 centimes in 1825
