Buckinghamshire, Aylesbury, Francis Wheeler, Skidmore’s mule Halfpenny, 1797, Justice seated right, holding sword and scales, rev. fw cypher in script capitals, surmounted by the crest of a swan and encircled by wreath of oak and palm, edge engrailed, 9.31g/6h (DH 5; Preston-Morley 1020). Obverse a little off-centre as usual, otherwise better than extremely fine with much original colour, extremely rare; only seven specimens known to the cataloguer, two of which are in institutions £600-800
