Buckinghamshire, Aylesbury, Skidmore’s mule Halfpenny, from the same obv. die as previous, rev. shepherd, edge grained, 9.33g/3h (DH 10; Preston-Morley 1027). Minor toning spots on obverse, good extremely fine with much original colour, extremely rare; the second best of the three specimens known to the cataloguer £300-400
