Five Pounds, 5 January 1948, uniface proof with original date [5 April 1946] scored through and ‘PB 1733’ inked at right, signature of H.W.M. Clarke, perforated cancelled (Pick 239). ‘Copy for fronts only…NOT for paper’ in red ink in top margin and ‘Usual backs see separate copy for colours’ on back, many pinholes on left side, otherwise very fine (£200-250)
