William Richard Pearson was born in Ilford, Essex, on 23 September 1895. A Clerk by occupation, he enlisted in the 5th Canadian Mounted Rifles at Montreal in February 1915 and was killed in action on 13 August 1916. Buried in the Bedford House Cemetery, near Ieper, Belgium, he was the son of Mr. and Mrs. C. R. Pearson, of 80 Green Lanes, Stoke Newington, England; sold with copied service papers.
