John Abraham was born in Portsmouth on 10 April 1880. Entering the Royal Navy in August 1901, he attained the rank of Chief Engine Room Artificer 2nd Class in August 1914. Served on the escort sloop Honeysuckle, June 1915-May 1917; awarded the L.S. & G.C. in 1916 and ‘recommended for good service performed during the period 22 November to 19 December 1916’. Invalided due to tuberculosis on 1 October 1917, he died on 2 September 1918.
Alfred Watkins Taylor was born in Greenwich, Kent on 18 April 1877. Entering the Royal Navy in February 1899, he attained the rank of C.E.R.A. 1st Class in October 1918. Awarded the L.S. & G.C. in 1919. Served on the old battleship Triumph, August 1914-January 1915 and the destroyer Test, August 1915-April 1916 and July 1915-November 1917.
Edward Golighlty was born in Gateshead, Co. Durham on 19 April 1882. Entering the Royal Navy in January 1904, he attained the rank of E.R.A. 1st Class in August 1916. Awarded the L.S. & G.C. in 1919 when on the battlecruiser Lion. Served on Hyacinth and Zanzibar, April 1915-September 1917.
