Acting Serjeant Albert H. Goddard, Suffolk Yeomanry, entered the Egypt theatre of war on 8 October 1915. He was commissioned a 2nd Lieutenant in the Northamptonshire Regiment in April 1917 and was later with the Rifle Brigade.
