Harold William Wilson was born in West Ham, Essex and living at Silvertown enlisted at Blackheath. Serving with the 20th Battalion London Regiment, he was killed in action, France/Flanders, 21 August 1917, aged 20 years. Having no known grave, his name is commemorated on the Arras Memorial. He was the son of Emily Wilson of 21 Gatling Road, Plumstead, London and the late William Albert Wilson. Sold with Birth Certificate; damaged card boxes of issue, forwarding slips and registered envelope. Also with a copied extract from the Territorial Service Gazette of 29 January 1916 - which lists him as wounded.
