Sold with copy R.N.D. record card which shows that he was interned in Holland from 27 August 1914, and repatriated in January 1919, arriving at Hull on the 12th of that month. Another entry for September 1916 notes that he was ‘taken prisoner on Dutch S.S. Prinz Hendrik, returning from leave.’ According to the medal roll he was issued with a duplicate star and clasp on 26 June 1936.
