Peter Boland was born in and enlisted at Dublin. Serving with the 2nd Battalion Royal Dublin Fusiliers, he was killed in action at the Battle of Bellwarde Ridge, 24 May 1915, aged 22 years. Having no known grave, his name is commemorated on the Ypres (Menin Gate) Memorial. He was the son of John Boland of 4 Upper Buckingham Street, Dublin. With copied research.
