Early Anglo-Saxon Period, Sceatta, series G, bust right, cross in front, rev. standard with saltire in three corners and three pellets in remaining corner, pellet-in-annulet in centre, 1.22g/8h (M 269; N 43; S 808). Mark on cheek and minor verdigris spots on reverse, otherwise extremely fine (£200-250)
