Belgium, L’Hygiène, 1913, an Art Nouveau bronze plaque by J. Lecroart for Fisch on behalf of the Société Hollandaise-Belge des Amis de la Médaille d’Art, bust of Hygieia on tablet, her hair garlanded with fruit, rev. naked standing figure of the goddess holding aloft a bowl overflowing with fruit, sleeping child to her right leaning on philosopher’s bust, 70mm x 65mm (BDM VII, 542; cf. DNW 64, 1330). Tiny rim nick on base, otherwise very fine, charming style (£60-80)
