75th (Sharpshooters) Company Imperial Yeomanry.

Thomas Underwood was born in the Parish of Glaisdale, Whitby, North Yorkshire. He attested for the Imperial Yeomanry on 18 February 1901, aged 25 years. He served with the 75th (Sharpshooters) Company, 18th Battalion Imperial Yeomanry from 9 March 1901. Underwood was killed in action at Kalkoen Kranz, 11 February 1902. His name appears on the South African Memorial in the Parish of St. Mary’s, Whitby. Sold with some service details.
