Medals to F. R. Woolley sold with the recipient’s pay book and War Office letter dated 16 July 1900 relating to the recipient’s effects; together with some photographs.

Frederick Robert Woolley was born in the Parish of Islip, near Thrapston, Northaptonshire and enlisted into the Royal Engineers on 9 January 1885, aged 19 years. He died of enteric fever at Ladysmith on 29 December 1899. J. F. Wooley is believed to be the son of F. R. Woolley.
