Only 24 ‘Persian Gulf 1909-1914’ clasps to H.M.S. Lapwing.

George Cutting was born in 1874 at Swayfield, Norfolk. He entered the Royal Navy in 1895 and saw service in South Africa on the strength of H.M.S.
Gibraltar and off the Persian Gulf aboard H.M.S. Lapwing. He attained the rank of Chief Writer in 1907. During the Great War he served aboard H.M. Ships Europa and St. George. He was invalided in June 1919. Sold with original service and other papers.
