A scarce sword made for the forces of the White Rajah of Sarawak, probably made for the use of a Naval or Police officer, blade 83cm by Henry Wilkinson, Pall Mall, London (No 18205) of solid flat section, etched with the initial ‘S’ (for Sarawak) within a garter which contains the motto ‘Dum Spiro Spero’, the reverse with the initial ‘S’ set within a wreath of oak leaves, panels of floral scrolls, solid brass gothic style hilt, again with initial and motto repeated within oak leaves,brass mounted black leather scabbard, blade with minor rubbing and staining, fish-skin covering lacking from grip, scabbard cracked at chape £200-250
