Charles I (1625-1649), Oxford mint, Halfcrown, 1644, mm. Oxford plume on obv. only, Briot’s horseman, Oxford plume behind king, plain ground below, rev. Declaration, three Oxford plumes above, date in small figures and ox below, both between lozenges, 14.26g/8h (Bull 612/24; Morr. C1-24; SCBI Brooker –; N 2424; S 2958A). Very fine, but obverse weak and dark with verdigris £250-350
