Private John Tom Shelton, 1st Battalion Lincolnshire Regiment, entered the France/Flanders theatre of war on 13 August 1914. Later served in the 2nd Battalion with whom he earned the Military Medal. He came from Peterborough. With copied gazette extracts and m.i.c. - entitled to the clasp to his 1914 Star.
