Donald G Mellen

Donald Mellen was born and raised in Brooklyn, New York. His primary interest were coins but he began medal collecting in the late 60s.  It was a natural evolution from his love of history. His vast collection includes Gallantry, campaign medals and a large variety of foreign Orders and Decorations.

Donald spent most of his career at Lorillard Tobacco Company in New York. He is also a veteran of the Korean War. He lives in North Carolina with his wife Ann to whom he has been married for nearly sixty years.
