The current edifice of St Mary’s, Beenham, west Berkshire, dates to 1859; at the time of the visit of the Archbishop of Canterbury, Robert Runcie, in 1988, the encumbent was Revd. John Watson, who commissioned the medals from the late Ron Dutton
