Charles II (1649-1685), St Patrick’s coinage, Proof Farthing, in silver, small module, small lettering, nimbus around the head of St Patrick, colon stops on obv., single pellet stops on rev., edge grained, 7.00g/12h (S 6572A; DF 346 var.; Nelson, BNJ 1904, pl. ii, 13, this coin). Minor surface marks on obverse and high points with even wear, otherwise good fine and toned, exceptionally rare; perhaps only 3 or 4 specimens known £5,000-8,000
