Cpl.-Far., Rl. Horse Guards) regimental number worn through contact wear; Army L.S. & G.C., E.VII.R. (1364 F.S. Corpl., R. Horse Guards); Meritorious Service Medal, G.VI.R., 1st issue (F.S.Cpl., R.H.G.) the first three with considerable contact wear, good fine, the last extremely fine (4) £350-400

Only 20 K.S.A. medals issued to the Royal Horse Guards. Maund received his M.S.M. in 1939 and died on 4 May 1946, aged 81 years. He was the brother of Gunner F. Maund who was killed at Stormberg in 1899 (See Lot 245).
