Captain Hugh Greene Newport was wounded sometime between 18 August and 2nd September, probably in the action at Delville Wood. See Stand To, by Captain F. C. Hitchcock, M.C. in which Newport is mentioned a number of times. Sold with copy of m.i.c. confirming entitlement to Silver War Badge.
