Sergeant William Roche was born in Mountmellick, Queen’s County and enlisted at Maryborough, Queen’s County. He died of wounds Gallipoli 11 August 1915 whilst serving with the 6th Battalion, Leinster Regiment. Sold with copy of m.i.c. showing entitlement to 1914 Star and clasp.
