Private Michael Callaghan was born in Oristown, County Westmeath and enlisted at Drogheda, County Louth. He died of wounds France and Flanders 21 March 1918 whilst serving with the 2nd Battalion, Leinster Regiment. Sold with copy of m.i.c. showing entitlement to 1914 Star.
