Collection
Wilfred Hugh Massie served in France and was present at the first attack on Bullecourt. He was wounded in trench fighting before the attack on the Hindenburg Line on 17 July 1917. He was present at the operations on the Maine in 1918 and was again wounded on 20 July 1918. The casualties of the 62nd West Riding Division on the 20th July were estimated at 46 officers and 775 other ranks.
