M.I.D. London Gazette 3 October, 1952, “for gallant and distinguished service in Korea”:- Senior Commissioned Ordnance Engineer Victor William Josiah Elliott, R.N., H.M.S. Belfast.
He served aboard H.M.S. Ranpura during the Suez operations in 1956, and retired as Engineer Lieutenant Commander in 1968.
