Augustus (27 BC-AD 14), Denarius, laur head Augustus. reverse Livia seated (S.491; RSC.223.) Very fine. This piece struck near the end of Augustus' reign was copied by Tiberius as the principal type for his Denarius, generally known as the ""Tribute Penny"".
