Coenwulf (796-821), kings of mercia, Coenwulf, Canterbury, Group III, Cross Moline type, bust right, coenvvulf rex m, reverse oba moneta, cross moline over saltire, 1.25 gms (BMC 76; N. 348; S. 916; BLC 66). Edge chipped (c. 6 o’clock), and of rather poor colour, but otherwise fine or better and excessively rare (£400-600)
