Birth of Prince Charles, 1720, a copper medal, unsigned [by N. Roettier], conjoined busts of James III and Princess Clementina right, rev. figure of Providence holding the infant Prince, decorated with a ribbon and badge, 44mm (Woolf 38:2; MI 453/61; E 487). A restrike from the usual rusted dies [as they all are], extremely fine, patinated (£60-80)
